The Regeneration Program

What leading land regeneration approaches like agroforestry, food forests and syntropic farming have in common is that food production and forest regeneration go hand in hand. Forests have a dramatic impact on global climate regulation that dwarfs all other factors.

The UFF regeneration program offers the knowledge of the combined land regeneration approaches to the indigenous peoples who are taking care of the last surviving rainforest and unifies both worlds. This way a small effort in aligned forest and land regeneration has a massive impact on our collective future.

Teach-The-Teacher

Starting from our European Syntropic Agroforestry pilot in 2022, we have learned much from the global masters of rainforest, land and climate revitalisation. Enough to begin establishing teacher training for the communities of elders on 5 continents, including the tribal leaders that form the world’s first indigenous parliament in the heart of the Amazon rainforest.

online learning

In our ‘Teach-the-teacher’ set up, master trainers in different food forestry systems meet the extremely high demand for basic module training. The online basic training of trainers allows us to relieve the current pressure on available global training resources while expanding availability to more and more communities. It also offers master trainers the opportunity to teach people who own large patches of regenerative land.

community planting

Designs, basic hand tools, equipment and planting materials are required to kickstart each community into a position of perpetual self-regeneration. After a few months a properly set up food forest system is capable of providing initial quantities of food on poor land with no inputs.

No ploughing, tilling or weeding is required after the initial set up either. The main work is learning how to listen to Nature and harmoniously amplifying its energies. The heavy tractors of modern farming compact the soil and are not required for family homestead food forestry.

a healing practice

The entire practice returns the carbon into the soil, heals the underground ecosystem and restores the building blocks for both the local biodiversity, abundant food and materials and the global hydrological cycle.

In short, this single programme helps us to address most of the major challenges facing humanity, from the bottom-up.

What it boils down to

Unifying Fields has established a regeneration program, funded by the Earth Bond Gift, that will directly assist those closest to nature to regenerate their forests and lands. The program includes:

  • A ‘Teach-The-Teacher’ program to let all tribes learn how to regenerate their forest.

  • A ‘Return to the land’ program to bring the young indigenous back from the cities.

  • Full water restoration on arid lands as the trees begin to make rains return.

  • Food independence as soils return to health and yields become abundant.

  • Basic hand tools to speed up the time to self-sufficiency and land regeneration.

Regenerating Life

How to cool the planet, feed the world and live happily ever after.

Regenerating Life is a documentary that challenges the prevailing wisdom that carbon emissions from the burning of fossil fuels are the primary cause of the crises and offers a new narrative.

Join  filmmaker John Feldman in his exploration of how life regulates the climate through photosynthesis and the carbon cycle, the water cycle, the dung cycle and a vast interconnected soil network of fungi, micro organisms and plant roots..
